Part-Time Junior Visual Designer We're looking for a talented and detail-oriented Junior Visual Designer to support a growing creative practice working across healthcare, technology, fintech, and other industries. This is a part-time role focused primarily on branding, print design, social media, and marketing materials. The ideal candidate has a strong visual eye, understands how to work within established brand guidelines, and can confidently take a project from an initial direction through final production. You'll work closely with a senior designer across multiple client projects. Some assignments will involve developing new visual concepts, while others will focus on adapting existing creative, creating additional formats, incorporating revisions, and preparing polished final files. Responsibilities Design branded marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, one-pagers, reports, presentations, signage, and event collateral Create social media graphics, digital ads, campaign assets, email graphics, and website visuals Adapt approved concepts across multiple sizes, formats, platforms, and languages Support branding projects through visual exploration, asset creation, and brand-guideline development Follow established brand systems while maintaining consistency in typography, color, imagery, spacing, and layout Prepare accurate, production-ready files for print and digital use Make copy and design revisions carefully and efficiently Organize source files, links, images, exports, and project assets Manage multiple assignments and communicate clearly about progress, questions, and deadlines Occasionally support website or product-design projects in Figma What We're Looking For Approximately 1-3 years of professional design experience, including internships or strong freelance experience A portfolio demonstrating strong typography, layout, branding, print, and social media work Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and comfort working in Figma Strong attention to detail, especially when working with copy-heavy or regulated materials Ability to follow an established creative direction while making thoughtful design decisions Good file organization and production-design skills Ability to receive feedback and incorporate revisions accurately Dependable, responsive, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment Able to balance several client projects and meet agreed-upon deadlines Nice to Have Experience with product or UI design Familiarity with design systems, components, and responsive layouts Experience creating presentations in Google Slides or PowerPoint Experience with healthcare, technology, SaaS, or financial-services clients Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive-design principles Role Details Part-time contract position Approximately 20 hours per week Remote, with flexible working hours Potential to grow into a larger or longer-term role To apply, please send your résumé, portfolio, hourly rate, general availability, and a short introduction.
