Position Overview Position Overview FocusCreative Solutions is a growing digital marketing and branding agency based in the St. George area. We're looking for a talented local graphic designer to partner with us as an ongoing independent contractor and help create standout work for a variety of clients and industries. This is a hybrid opportunity with flexible remote production hours , combined with regular local collaboration.

Location Requirement:

Applicants must live in the St. George/Washington, Utah area and be available for Monday in-person meetings and occasional scheduled client meetings. What You'll Work On Projects will vary depending on client needs and may include:

Branding & Logo Design:

Logos, brand identity elements, brand guidelines, and supporting marketing materials.

Print Design:

Brochures, guides, advertisements, signage, menus, promotional materials, and other print-ready collateral.

Digital & Social Creative:

Social media graphics, digital ads, website graphics, campaign creative, and other digital assets.

Apparel & Merchandise:

Original graphics and layouts for T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, and other branded merchandise.

Creative Concepting:

Develop fresh visual directions, mood boards, and original design concepts—not simply execute existing layouts.

Production & File Preparation:

Prepare accurate, professional files for print, digital use, and client delivery.

Collaboration & Revisions:

Work closely with our agency team to understand project goals, incorporate feedback, and efficiently handle revisions. Communication & Availability Your design and production hours can be flexible, but strong communication and responsiveness are essential to this role. You must be available to check and respond to agency communications periodically throughout the standard workday, Monday through Friday. Agency work can move quickly, so there may be quick-turnaround projects, client revisions, or questions that need attention during the day. While you are not expected to be online continuously, we need someone who stays connected, responds within a reasonable timeframe, communicates proactively about project status or availability, and can reliably manage deadlines.

Key Responsibilities & Project Workflows Brand Asset Creation:

Develop clean, high-impact visual assets including vector logos, full brand identity guidelines, and marketing collateral.

Digital & Social Creative:

Design professional digital layouts, landing page graphics, and highly engaging social media creative templates for diverse business sectors.

Print Design Production:

Build and format layouts for print (such as custom menus, brochures, and signage), ensuring files are perfectly set up for production.

Collaboration & Iteration:

Participate in bi-weekly in-person briefings in town to review upcoming project scopes, brainstorm design concepts, and walk through client revision requests.

Pay:

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 - 10.0 per week
