Located in Franklin Park, Illinois, CDM is at the pulse of Midwest manufacturing and Chicago creative. Our current in-house team is the strongest it has ever been and we are looking to take that next step up. We have a variety of established customers that cover the following categories: Banking, Sprits/Alcohol, Sweet Baked Goods, Residential Construction for placements in Grocery, Convenience and Mass Market Retailers. Job Summary - Industrial Designer You will champion individual projects with assistance from Engineering and your team members, as well as a vast history of proven designs. Point of Purchase is a fast paced environment that requires solid problem solving combined with insightful design considerations. The position would be full time on location. Responsibilities

• Provide innovative design and thorough engineering of display concepts that meet client objectives and Chicago Display's quality standards
• Assist flow of projects from ideation to production completion
• Be a collaborative partner to Sales and Production Team
• Possible travel for trainings and critical client meetings Required Qualifications
• Solid background in industrial design, display design, and graphic design
• Strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing
• Flexibility to move project to project
• Ability to offer agile ideation, with resilience under pressure and against deadlines Preferred Skills
• 3+ years of design experience within the retail display industry / point of purchase
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or Engineering
• Graduate degree is a plus
• Expertise with SolidWorks, Adobe Creative Suite, and other 3D software
• Flexibility in the work place to adjust to our fast-paced environment

Compensation/Benefits:

Based on experience targeting $60,000 - $75,000 per year 10 Vacation Days 5 PTO Days ~10 company holidays per year Medical/Dental Benefits 401(k) Retirement plan with up to 5% match
