In this role, you will collaborate closely with clients, architects, and contractors to develop compelling interior concepts that balance aesthetics, functionality, and budget. Your passion for design, combined with your proficiency in industry-standard software and building codes, will drive the successful execution of residential interior projects from concept to completion. Duties Develop comprehensive interior design concepts for residential projects, including space planning, color schemes, furniture selection, and lighting design. Create detailed drawings and presentations using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and 3ds Max to communicate design ideas effectively. Produce high-quality 3D models and renderings that showcase design concepts to clients and stakeholders. Prepare construction detail documentation ensuring all designs meet building code compliance and safety standards. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously by coordinating schedules, budgets, and resources efficiently. Conduct site visits for renovation or remodeling projects to oversee construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications. Collaborate with clients throughout the project lifecycle by providing professional advice on material selections, lighting solutions, and color theory. Prepare contracts, manage client communication, and facilitate smooth project execution from initial concept through installation. Skills Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D), 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator). Strong knowledge of building information modeling (BIM) tools for efficient project management and documentation. Experience in drafting detailed construction documents and construction detail documentation for residential interiors. Expertise in 3D modeling for architectural design and rendering to visualize concepts vividly. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining high-quality work. Effective client communication skills to present ideas clearly and incorporate feedback seamlessly. Knowledge of lighting sales, lighting design principles, renovation processes, remodeling techniques, and construction experience.
