This entry-level position combines design assistance, project coordination, materials management, and client communication. It is ideal for someone who enjoys design but is equally comfortable managing schedules, tracking details, following up with vendors, and keeping multiple projects moving. Responsibilities Create preliminary design packages and refine client presentations. Research and assist with selecting flooring, paint, lighting, hardware, and finishes. Order, label, organize, and track samples and project materials. Maintain accurate records of selections, pricing, lead times, and product information. Create clear scopes of work and assist with project schedules. Coordinate vendors, deliveries, appointments, and jobsite details. Communicate project updates to clients, vendors, and team members. Track open items, changes, questions, and issues through completion. Maintain project records, photos, vendor information, lockbox details, and internal workflows. Visit local jobsites to document progress and confirm project details. Assist with practical, hands-on project tasks as needed. Required Qualifications Highly organized across calendars, email, texts, project details, and deadlines. Reliable, punctual, responsive, and comfortable being accountable for follow-through. Strong written, phone, and in-person communication. Comfortable coordinating several active projects at once. Practical, flexible, and able to remain calm when priorities change. Comfortable using or learning Google Workspace, spreadsheets, presentation software, and project-management systems. Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Able to travel locally between the design center, vendors, and jobsites. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications Experience or education in interior design, visual merchandising, construction, remodeling, real estate, hospitality, retail, or project coordination is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person. Growth Opportunity The right candidate can grow into greater responsibility in design development and project management. About Us We are a Boise-area design and home improvement company serving homeowners and real estate agents. Our work includes interior design, remodeling, home staging, and flooring and finish selections through our design center. We are a small, hands-on team that values thoughtful design, clear communication, resourcefulness, and reliable follow-through. Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
