We are seeking an experienced Kitchen & Bath Designer who brings together exceptional design ability, strong technical knowledge, excellent client communication skills, and a proven ability to develop lasting professional relationships that generate repeat and referral business. This is an opportunity for an established kitchen and bath professional who wants the support and personal environment of a family-owned company while having the ability to increase their income through a base-plus-commission compensation structure. The Position The Senior Kitchen & Bath Designer will work directly with homeowners, builders, remodelers, contractors, real estate professionals, and other industry partners to develop and manage kitchen and bath projects from initial consultation through ordering and installation. The position is primarily based in our Sagamore office, with flexible working hours and regular travel to client homes and construction sites. Candidates must be comfortable using technology to communicate and present designs remotely when appropriate, while also being willing and able to meet clients and construction professionals in the field. Responsibilities Consult with homeowners and professional clients to understand project goals, style, functional requirements, and budget. Design kitchens, bathrooms, and related spaces using 2020 Design Flex. Produce professional floor plans, elevations, renderings, specifications, and client presentations. Guide clients through cabinetry, countertops, hardware, finishes, and related product selections. Accurately field-measure existing spaces and evaluate site conditions. Prepare accurate proposals, specifications, and cabinetry orders. Review designs for construction, installation, and dimensional considerations. Coordinate with builders, remodelers, contractors, installers, vendors, and other project professionals. Attend job-site meetings and conduct site visits as required. Communicate with clients throughout the design, ordering, and installation process. Manage multiple projects and maintain organized project documentation. Develop and maintain relationships with builders, remodelers, real estate professionals, designers, contractors, past clients, and other referral partners. Proactively identify opportunities to generate new, repeat, and referral business. Provide professional follow-up to prospects, clients, and industry partners. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of professional Kitchen & Bath Design experience. Minimum 5 years of experience using 2020 Design Flex. Strong knowledge of cabinetry, kitchen and bath design, space planning, construction, and installation requirements. Experience field-measuring kitchens, bathrooms, and remodeling projects. Ability to read and understand construction plans and drawings. Strong client consultation and presentation skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Comfortable communicating with clients using video meetings, screen sharing, email, digital presentations, and other technology. Comfortable visiting and working around active residential construction sites. Ability to travel locally to client homes and job sites as required by the position. Demonstrated professional communication and relationship-building skills.
Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
