Full-Time Salary:
$50,000-$65,000, based on experience Design Your Career at Torgerson Design Partners Torgerson Design Partners is seeking an Interior Designer with 3-5+ years of commercial design experience to join our in-office team in Ozark, Missouri. You'll be part of a close-knit architecture and design firm where collaboration, creativity, and professional growth are part of the everyday work. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about creating thoughtful, functional, and inspiring spaces—and who wants to grow within a collaborative firm where ideas are valued and professional development is supported. What You'll Do
  • Develop and present interior design concepts clearly and professionally from early vision through construction, helping maintain the design intent throughout each project.
  • Create space plans, finish palettes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) selections with accuracy and creativity.
  • Prepare coordinated drawing sets, including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, details, schedules, and specifications that align with project goals, applicable codes, and TDP office standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, consultants, clients, and other design disciplines throughout all phases of work. Support construction administration by reviewing RFIs and submittals and participating in site observations as needed.
  • Stay current on building codes, materials, products, and industry best practices. Manage the interior product library while maintaining relationships with manufacturers and product representatives.
  • Balance multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
  • 3-5+ years of commercial interior design experience and NCIDQ certification or in active pursuit
  • Knowledge of architecture, construction, and building systems is a plus.
  • Artistic mind with a creative design eye, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Valid driver's license for occasional project site visits and authorization to work in the US Software & Technical Skills (With a willingness to learn)
