We are looking for a full-time Interior Designer with more than five years of interior design experience to join our team in Whitefish. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background, exceptional client relations, great organizational skills, and project management experience . The ability to multitask, manage deadlines and be a team player as there will be opportunities to work on various project teams and directly with our principal designer.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Architectural Design
• 7+ years of design experience working with an interior design or architectural firm
• Strong attention to detail
• Solid verbal and written communication skills and ability to demonstrate the design process and present selections of materials to clients
• Design Manager skills preferred
• Live within commuting distance to our office/showroom

Responsibilities:

Work with clients from start to finish on projects including scheduling, budgeting, space planning, selections, on site and documentation with minimal supervision.

• Understanding clients' needs and wants and pushing them beyond their comfort zone to selections they like, but would have never selected themselves
• Reviewing architectural plans and providing inputs on functional space living after learning more about how the client uses their spaces
• Project budgeting and scheduling and the management of both
• Project management in conceptualizing, making, and preparing selections to present to the client for inputs and approvals
• Create project specifications/contractor drawings and documents
• Work and communicate effectively with client, architects, contractors, consultants, vendors
• Track time and work with design assistants on processing in a timely manner
