Job Description
Category Schools - Sign Language Interpreter Job Type All Job Types Immerse yourself in a meaningful opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Sign Language Interpreter for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. This role will engage you in one campus within a supportive educational environment, bridging communication for students and fostering inclusive learning experiences. With a steady weekly schedule of 32.5 hours, you'll collaborate with teachers and staff to facilitate access and encourage participation in the classroom.
Qualifications:
NAD Certification or EIPA Certification with a score of 4.0 or above required Experience interpreting within K-12 educational settings preferred Skilled in providing clear, accurate interpretation between American Sign Language (ASL) and spoken English Ability to adapt language style and register to suit different age groups, from kindergarteners to high school seniors Strong ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality and awareness of privacy protocols
Responsibilities:
