J ob Overview CGSD Logistics is contracting Spanish medical interpreters for on-site appointments in Fair Lawn and the surrounding Bergen County area. We receive steady requests here and need interpreters who can confirm availability quickly, including same-day and next-day assignments. Responsibilities Provide in-person Spanish interpretation at doctor's offices, orthopedic and imaging practices, and physical and occupational therapy clinics. Interpret at Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) and workers' compensation appointments. Render meaning accurately and completely, preserving tone and intent, without adding or omitting. Maintain strict confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements at all times. Arrive 10-15 minutes early and confirm start and end times with our dispatch team. Requirements Full fluency in Spanish and English, spoken and written. Prior medical, legal, or workers' compensation interpreting experience preferred. Medical interpreter certification (CCHI or NBCMI) is a plus but not required. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Ability to respond quickly to assignment offers by phone, text, or email. Professional conduct and appearance. Details Assignments typically run 1-2 hours, weekdays between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Pay is $30
