Qualifications/Desired Experience:
National certification (e.g., EIPA, RID, or NIC) strongly preferred Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Experience supporting students in K-12 schools Ability to adapt to dynamic classroom settings and varied educational needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clear, accurate sign language interpretation for students and school staff Collaborate with teachers to ensure classroom accessibility and student engagement Support IEP meetings and other key academic functions as needed Foster an inclusive, supportive environment for deaf and hard-of-hearing students Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
