$20/hr, Part-time; no benefits

JOB DESCRIPTION

Applicants will conduct a developmental screening of children ages 3-5, prior to kindergarten entry. The intent of screening is to identify children who may have a disability or developmental delay and who therefore require further evaluation to determine eligibility for special education. Screeners should have experience and enjoy working with young children. Successful applicants will receive training in the specific screening tests to be administered. Child Outreach screeners will be assigned to various school districts and will be supervised by school district personnel.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be fluent in Spanish and English. Screeners typically screen 3 hours per day, and the number of days will vary based on school district requests. All screeners must pass a R.I.
