Key Qualifications:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Relevant certification or licensure for Sign Language Interpretation (as required by state standards) Experience working in a school environment is highly preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in new educational settings
Core Responsibilities:
Provide sign language interpreting services for students, staff, and faculty throughout the school day Facilitate effective communication between Deaf/Hard of Hearing students and their peers/teachers Support classroom instruction and activities in various subjects and settings Collaborate with education staff to implement inclusive practices Maintain confidentiality and professional standards at all times
