Exterior Lighting Installer Natural Accents Outdoor Lighting Leawood, KS Job Details Part-time $20 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Outdoor work experience Ladder use Attention to detail Fixture installation Power tools Hand tools Full Job Description Exterior Lighting Installer NAOL is looking for a motivated, dependable, and hands-on exterior lighting installer to join our team. This position will install and service residential and commercial landscape lighting and permanent lighting systems throughout the Kansas City area. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality workmanship, has good attention to detail, and is comfortable working with tools, ladders, and electrical components.
Responsibilities:
Install low-voltage landscape lighting systems Install and position landscape lighting fixtures, including path lights, uplights, downlights, step lights, accent lights, and speciality fixtures Install, connect, and troubleshoot low-voltage wiring, transformers, timers, and lighting controls Install permanent lighting along rooflines and structures Follow lighting designs and installation plans to achieve the desired finish look Properly bury, conceal, secure, and organize wiring Adjust and aim fixtures to create an attractive, functional, and professionally finished lighting design Work safely on ladders and around landscaping, hardscaping, homes, and commercial properties Maintain a clean and organized work site Perform repairs, maintenance, adjustments, and troubleshooting on existing lighting systems Communicate professionally with clients and team members
Physical Requirements:
Work outdoors for extended periods Bend, kneel, crouch, and work around landscaping Lift and carry equipment and materials Use hands and power tools Climb and work from ladders Work at various heights
