We're looking for a warm, quick-thinking photographer to capture families' favorite holiday memory of the year, one kid (and one meltdown) at a time. What you'll do Photograph children, families, and the occasional pet with Santa in a fast-paced, high-volume set Get genuine smiles from shy, nervous, or crying kids, with patience and a sense of humor Pose families quickly and naturally to keep the line moving without making anyone feel rushed Run a tethered Canon setup and keep images flowing to our viewing and print station Troubleshoot gear, software, and connection issues on the fly, often with a line waiting Keep the set, lighting, and equipment clean, safe, and camera-ready Work alongside our print/register team and elves to create a smooth, joyful guest experience What we're looking for Experience photographing children (school, portrait studio, Santa, events, or similar) Strong working knowledge of Canon cameras, including manual exposure, focus, and flash/strobe settings Comfortable with computers and new software; tethering experience (e.g. Capture One) is a plus Calm problem-solver who stays friendly and focused under pressure Excellent communication with parents and kids Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Bilingual English/Spanish is a big plus Schedule Season runs November 28 - December 23, 2026 , mainly Thursday-Sunday with some added weekdays in the final stretch Paid training in late November 23-24 Must be available Black Friday weekend and most weekends in December Physical requirements Able to stand for most of a shift, kneel or crouch to kids' eye level, and lift up to 25 lbs of equipment.
