Job Summary MadeByNPS is a small startup in the East Bay Area and we are seeking a dynamic and creative Photographer / Videographer to capture compelling visual content that elevates our brand and engages our audience. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality photographs and videos across various projects, ensuring all media aligns with our brand standards. Your expertise in camera operation, lighting, sound recording, and post-production will be essential to delivering visually stunning stories that resonate. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your technical proficiency and artistic vision in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Responsibilities Plan, organize, and execute photo shoots and video recordings for diverse projects, including promotional content, events, and social media campaigns Operate professional camera equipment, including setting up cameras, lenses, tripods, stabilizers, and lighting to achieve optimal shot quality Record high-quality audio using microphones and sound equipment, ensuring clear sound capture for videos Manage lighting setups to enhance visual appeal and ensure proper exposure during filming or photography sessions Edit photos and videos using media editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects to produce polished final products Incorporate motion graphics and visual effects to enhance storytelling and engagement in video content Collaborate with creative teams to develop concepts that align with brand messaging and project goals while maintaining technical excellence throughout production Skills Proficiency in photography techniques and camera setup for various shooting environments Strong knowledge of videography principles including filming techniques, framing, composition, and movement Expertise in post-production editing using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro), Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, and other media editing tools Experience with sound recording for video production, including microphone placement and audio processing Ability to operate video recording equipment confidently while troubleshooting technical issues on set Knowledge of lighting for video production to create visually appealing scenes under different conditions Skilled in visual storytelling to craft engaging narratives through images and videos while maintaining brand consistency Join us as a Photographer / Videographer to bring stories to life through your lens!
