This is not a seasonal position; it is year round. Eligible candidates must be local. Storibox Technologies is seeking energetic, reliable, and guest-focused team members to work as Portrait Room /Luau Photographers at the Hilton Waikoloa Village. This role is fast-paced and multi-faceted, combining high-volume guest interaction, professional photography, emotional sales presentation, and professional photography equipment handling .   • Responsible for working both the portrait studio as well as the luau Storibox Technologies is seeking friendly, motivated, and creative team members to work in our Portrait Room at Hilton Waikoloa Village .
This role combines guest engagement, appointment scheduling, professional photography, photo editing, and sales in a resort setting. Team members will rotate through the Portrait Room several days per week, working with guests both in-portrait room and at scenic outdoor locations on property. Such as, a beach location and a lush greenery ocean outlook. The Luau Photographer portion you will be responsible for creating memorable first impressions, capturing joyful guest moments, and presenting premium leather-bound photo albums and digital packages for purchase—all while maintaining excellent customer service and efficiency throughout the event. The right candidate will be strong in their sales execution and work well with the team to meet sales goals. Opportunities to earn commission. If after 60 days the candidate is performing well, they will receive a $350 sign on bonus. Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Greeting & Flow Management Greet 500+ luau guests per evening with flower or shell leis Welcome guests warmly and direct them to one of three photo stations Maintain an upbeat, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times Photography & Guest Direction Capture high-quality photos of luau guests quickly and consistently Provide positive, clear, and encouraging direction during photo capture Create a fun, relaxed atmosphere while keeping lines moving efficiently Emotional Connection & Guest Experience Build quick emotional connections with guests during photo capture Carry that positive energy through to the sales interaction Ensure guests feel informed, valued, and excited about their photos Sales & Presentation Present and sell best-selling leather-bound photo albums and digital packages Deliver a clear and compelling sales pitch at the sales table Answer guest questions about pricing, products, and photo delivery Album Packing & Sales Table Setup Carefully pack and transport leather-bound photo albums Set up the sale-s table before the event, ensuring albums and displays are clean, organized, and visually appealing Maintain a tidy, well-presented sales area throughout the evening Properly break down and pack albums and sales materials at the end of the shift Equipment Management & Physical Duties Safely move and manage photography equipment as needed during the event Maintain awareness of guests while transporting equipment Ensure all equipment and materials are properly stored after the luau Efficiency & Professional Standards Work quickly and accurately in a high-volume environment Maintain consistent service quality even during peak guest flow Follow Storibox Technologies standards for professionalism, safety, and guest care Ideal Candidate Friendly, energetic, and confident interacting with large groups Comfortable with sales, commission-based environments, and product presentation Able to stand for long periods and lift/move equipment safely Strong communication skills and situational awareness Photography experience preferred (training provided for brand standards) Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Work Environment Outdoor evening luau setting High guest volume and fast pace Combination of photography, sales, and physical setup/breakdown duties
