Responsibilities Transcribe audio recordings into clear, accurate written documents using specialized transcription software and word processing tools. Ensure all transcriptions adhere to established formatting standards. Proofread and edit transcripts for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and consistency, maintaining high-quality standards. Apply transcription formatting techniques to produce professional documents suitable for official use. Utilize foreign language proficiency when necessary to accurately transcribe multilingual audio content. Manage multiple transcription assignments efficiently while meeting strict deadlines. Maintain confidentiality and security protocols when handling sensitive information related to government investigations or personnel data. Qualifications Active security clearance (e.g., SF-86 or eQIP required for consideration. Proven experience in audio transcription, content editing, or related roles with a focus on accuracy and detail. Strong proficiency with transcription software, Microsoft Office applications, and word processing tools. Excellent proofreading skills with a keen eye for grammatical errors and formatting consistency. Ability to type quickly and accurately, demonstrating strong typing skills and attention to detail. Bilingual or foreign language proficiency is a plus for handling multilingual content effectively. Exceptional typing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and professional transcripts.
