Key Responsibilities Deliver multi-platform content:

Produce engaging, accurate weather forecasts for TV, web, social media, and our streaming app.

Own the weather story:

Track severe storms, winter weather systems, and daily hazards with precision and clarity.

Connect with the community:

Engage with viewers where they are, breaking down complex meteorological data into simple, conversational information.

Severe Weather Coverage :

Provide urgent, clear, and calm on-air coverage during tracking events.

Digital First :

Deliver weather segments on Ozarks First +, update weather stories on ozarksfirst.com, and provide weather content on social media channels constantly.

Qualifications & Requirements Education :

Bachelor's degree in meteorology or atmospheric sciences.

Experience :

Minimum of 1-2 years of on-air television weather experience is preferred.

Technical Skills :

Proficiency with modern weather graphics systems (e.g., WSI/The Weather Company).

Seal :

AMS or NWA seal of approval is highly desirable.

Availability :

Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours during severe weather.
