Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Closet Designer and unleash your creativity and technical expertise to transform living spaces! In this role, you will work closely with clients to design customized closet solutions that blend style, functionality, and innovation. Your passion for interior design, combined with your sales skills, will help clients realize their dream storage spaces while ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience from consultation to installation. Responsibilities Engage with clients through inside and outside sales channels to understand their needs and present tailored closet solutions. Utilize SketchUp, CAD, and other design software to create detailed layout plans and lighting designs that maximize space and aesthetic appeal. Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to educate clients on available options, including fixtures, lighting, and organizational accessories. Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, upselling premium features, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the remodeling process. Collaborate with contractors and construction teams during renovation or remodeling projects to ensure designs are accurately implemented. Manage client interactions via CRM systems, POS transactions, and maintain organized records of sales activities and project details. Assist in merchandising displays within the showroom to highlight product offerings and inspire customer ideas. Qualifications Proven experience in retail sales, remodeling, or construction sales with a focus on high-end products or services. Strong proficiency in SketchUp, CAD software, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems for design, sales tracking, and client communication. Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals effectively while upselling additional services or products. Knowledge of lighting design, fixture installation, renovation processes, and basic construction principles is highly desirable. Multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele; fluency in English is required. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from initial consultation through installation. Strong communication skills for client interaction, product demos, and team collaboration; experience in inside/outside sales preferred.
