This position is based at our office in Carmel, IN and will be remotely collaborating with our Marketing and Presentation team in Walworth, WI.

•Only applications with a video editing demo reel or work reel will be considered.

Responsibilities:

 Review and organize raw footage, creating stringouts for the Senior Video Editor.  Archive, log, and categorize footage from past and future LIVE remote broadcasts and remote feature shoots.  Adequately back up and maintain project data.  Source music, sound effects, graphic templates, stock photos, and videos from various online libraries.  Work with Sr. Video editor to edit promos, commercials, sizzles, features, full-length shows, and other content for broadcast, digital, and social platforms.  Render basic graphics and color correction for output.  Support the Marketing team with video requests.  Share clips and content with other interested parties upon request.  Aid in productions at Mecum events and remote feature shoots.  Collaborate with clients and freelancers when applicable.

Required Skills and Attributes:

 Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or technical school preferred.  6+ years of post-production experience and/training.  3+ years of LIVE broadcast TV experience.  Experienced in using Adobe Creative Suite of software. Davinci Resolve experience is a bonus.  In-depth understanding of how cameras, lighting, and sound recording work together to create compelling videos.  Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to take direction from multiple sources.  Proficient in company-provided Mac or PC hardware and software.  Flexibility with work schedule, including outside normal business hours to make deadlines.  Ability to stay up-to-date on new editing techniques, tools, as well as troubleshoot and identify technical issues as they arise.  Ability to perform effectively under pressure.  Positive, self-motivated storyteller, listener, and problem solver. Physical Demands  Possible long periods of sitting, looking at monitors for extended periods of times.  Ability to handle Travel arrangements.
