PRODUCTION AND CREATIVE MEDIA DIRECTOR A

growing church in Marshfield, Missouri, is seeking a capable and dependable Production and Creative Media Director to oversee technical production and create high quality visual media for services, events, and church communications. This position combines live production, video, graphic design, digital media, and volunteer leadership. The successful candidate will help create engaging, excellent, and distraction free experiences across both in person and online environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES LIVE PRODUCTION

Oversee technical production for weekly services, rehearsals, conferences, and special events. Coordinate audio, lighting, screens, cameras, livestreaming, recording, presentation media, and technical transitions. Prepare service presentations, lyrics, videos, sermon graphics, countdowns, and other required media. Troubleshoot technical problems calmly and effectively.

VIDEO AND DIGITAL MEDIA

Film, edit, and produce announcement videos, promotional videos, testimonies, sermon clips, event recaps, and other ministry content. Prepare video content in the appropriate formats for services, social media, websites, and digital communication. Maintain organized media files, project files, templates, and archives. Help capture quality photographs and video footage during services and special events.

GRAPHIC DESIGN AND CREATIVE MEDIA

Create and edit flyers, social media graphics, announcement slides, event artwork, sermon graphics, signage, and promotional materials. Maintain visual consistency across printed and digital communication. Adapt existing artwork into the required sizes and formats for screens, social media, websites, email, and print. Work with church staff and ministry leaders to turn ministry information into clear and attractive promotional material.

TEAM LEADERSHIP

Recruit, train, schedule, and support production and media volunteers. Develop volunteers in audio, lighting, cameras, livestreaming, presentation media, photography, video, and graphic design. Create clear processes, training materials, and expectations for the production and creative teams. Build a dependable team with sufficient coverage for weekly services and special events.

EQUIPMENT AND SYSTEMS

Maintain production equipment, computers, cameras, software, cables, microphones, lighting equipment, and related technical systems. Keep production and media files, equipment, and workspaces organized. Identify repair, replacement, software, and purchasing needs before they become urgent.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate has experience in church production, live events, video production, graphic design, broadcasting, or digital media. Experience with live audio, presentation software, cameras, lighting systems, livestream platforms, video editing software, and graphic design software is preferred. Candidates should be creative, organized, dependable, proactive, teachable, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines. The right person will be comfortable receiving direction, working collaboratively, leading volunteers, and making sound decisions in a live production environment. Because this is a ministry position, applicants should demonstrate a sincere Christian faith and be able to support the church's mission, values, and culture.

COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE

$21 per hour
