Video Coordinator, UM Athletics

Job Description

UM Athletics invites applications for a Video Coordinator to manage the procurement, installation, maintenance, inventory, security, and operation of all football video equipment, hardware, and software. Athletic Department employees and those University employees outside the Athletic Department with NCAA rules compliance responsibilities are subject at all times to NCAA Bylaws 10.1 and 11.1 regarding ethical conduct and the responsibility to positively contribute to a campus culture of NCAA rules compliance. Failure to conduct oneself as such will result in disciplinary or corrective action up to and including immediate discharge. Film, edit, process, and archive practices, games, and football-related events, ensuring timely delivery of video for coaching, scouting, recruiting, and player development Support the daily operations of the football program by coordinating video services, managing film exchange with opponent institutions, and maintaining video systems Train, supervise, and provide technical support to student assistants, managers, and interns involved in football video operations Advise coaching staff on video technology, equipment, and system improvements while staying current on emerging technologies, software updates, and applicable policies to enhance program effectiveness Bachelor's Degree and at least one (1) year of experience with collegiate football filming, associated software, and equipment Demonstrated ability to work with a wide variety of people Ability to work under pressure with a high level of attention to accuracy Demonstrated attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a Division I football program Experience working with

Work Schedule:
Full-time, 1.0 FTE (40 Hours a week), Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 12 months/year
Probationary Period:
Six (6) months minimum
