Job Summary Job Description What You Will Be Doing :

Reviewing and redacting personally identifiable information (PII), confidential data, and classified information from sensitive documents in accordance with Executive Order 13526,the Privacy Act of 1974, the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Conducting line-by-line review of documents and citing specific exemption authority and justification for each redaction. Preparing files for release to approved parties by ensuring all redactions are accurate, properly justified, and compliant with policy. Organizing, tracking, and maintaining case files requiring redaction within the IC customer. Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all redaction activities. Providing inputs to compliance reports and metrics as directed by the Government. Safeguarding individual privacy by ensuring information about an individual is not accessed or disclosed without that individual's knowledge and consent, consistent with the Privacy Act.
