Adult Ed - GED Math Meriden School District - 4.0 Meriden, CT Job Details Part-time $45.96 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications Math Classroom Teaching Full Job Description Meriden Adult Education is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic GED Math Teacher to provide mathematics instruction to adult learners preparing to take the GED exam.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging GED mathematics instruction Prepare students for the Mathematical Reasoning portion of the GED test. Teach and reinforce foundational and higher-level math concepts Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs and skill levels of adult learners. Monitor student progress and provide additional support as needed Maintain student attendance and other required program records Create a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment Communicate with Adult Education staff regarding student progress and program needs.

Qualifications :

Experience teaching mathematics is required; experience preparing students for the GED exam is preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with students from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds Experience in adult education is preferred Must hold or be actively pursuing Connecticut Adult Education certification, endorsement 107

Schedule:

Wednesdays & Thursdays, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
