• DMS Adjunct Faculty Instructor South College Asheville is seeking an Adult Echocardiography
• DMS Adjunct Faculty Instructor to join the DMS Department.

This position is on-ground at the Asheville Campus in Asheville, NC. Travel to area clinical sites may be required.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop appropriate academic lectures and/or scanning lab, as well as learning experiences that allow all students to achieve course objectives in sonography. Ensure that all academic program requirements and forms of documentation are completed as required for each student and submitted per established deadlines in sonography. Provide appropriate and timely feedback to students. Be reasonably accessible to students for questions and assistance. Appropriately manage all classroom activities. Submit accurate attendance/academic participation rosters as prescribed by the institution. Submit assignment grades and feedback in a timely manner. Be willing to assist with visiting students in a clinical setting.

Requirements:

Education Required associate's degree in adult cardiac sonography Minimum of bachelor's degree in relevant field required for didactic instruction Experience Must have active credential in adult echocardiography as either RDCS or RCS Must document the equivalent of two years full-time experience as a sonographer.
