Gynecologist - Midlife Health and Gynecologic Specialties

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Midlife Health, at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, seeks experienced applicants with option for clinical track or tenure at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level. We are seeking an energetic and collaborative new partner to join our division which has a strong commitment to clinical care, education, and clinical research. Salary, rank, tenure status and compensation are dependent upon qualifications and experience. Although the majority of care is provided in the ambulatory Midlife Health Center, gynecologic procedures can be performed within the clinic or the outpatient and inpatient operating rooms. Special interest clinics can be established depending on need and experience of the applicant.

Qualifications

Education:

MD or equivalent +/- PhD by appointment start date

Licensure:

Board certified/eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Certified menopause specialist (or willing to become certified) by the Menopause Society

Experience in clinical and/or translational research desirable. Evidence of an emerging national reputation through published research, committee work, organizational involvement, etc preferred
