POSITION SUMMARY
This is a part- time position spanning approximately 480 hours, working between 14 and 18 hours per week. Under the direction of the Court Administrator and assigned court staff, the Archive Technician will follow all UCJIS regulations and procedures to review and update digital files using hard copy archived information. The Archive Technician will follow all UCJIS rules and regulations in working with confidential data while completing duties of the job. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Complete all required training to access CJIS date, CORIS and Xchange. Follow identified procedures to review/ compare hard copy case files to digital files and determine what hard copy documents need to be uploaded into the digital file. Scan documents into appropriate digital files, following established procedures for labeling, signatures, etc. Complete assigned basic training in
CORIS LMS
system to increase knowledge and understanding of court documents. Follow identified procedures to properly destroy hard copy documents once uploaded into digital files. Attend department staff meetings as assigned. Organize archive room. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have High School Diploma or GED. Must pass UCJIS background check in addition to pre-hire background check and drug. ___________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
General knowledge of computers and software. Ability to maintain accurate records and to organize data and materials. Ability to follow written and verbal directions. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with court staff. Ability to work independently and ask questions as needed to complete tasks. Ability to maintain work schedule and to be prompt to work. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in the work environment at all times. Ability to focus on detail- oriented work for long periods of time with multiple interruptions. Ability to multi-task and consistently generate accurate work.
