DONOR DATABASE/GIFT PROCESSING ASSOCIATE
The Milwaukee Rescue Mission (MRM) is seeking a full-time Donor Database/Gift Processing Associate to assist with the sorting, processing, and receipting of all monetary and in-kind donations. This position is also responsible for communicating related information to relevant donors and assisting in data entry and manual tasks related to communications.
WORK SCHEDULE
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 1st Shift (willing to be flexible with specific hours)
LOCATION
Central Campus, 830 N 19th Street, Milwaukee, WI. 53223
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sort incoming mail Manually open and batch donations for processing Process, verify and record donations through donor database Import and export reports and receipts through donor database Assist with database clean-up projects File, shred, and move files as directed by management Answer and transfer incoming phone calls Other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED required Previous experience in an administrative role required Previous bank and database experience preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office and database software Excellent oral and written communication skills with competence and accuracy in grammar and spelling Detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills Flexible, team player Must be able to handle physical workload - ability to stand or sit for long periods of time, walking, stair climbing, kneeling, squatting, crouching, reaching, handling and gripping without difficulty, repetitive movement of both hands and arms, as well as frequent lifting or moving items with a maximum weight of 55lbs a short distance (ex: floor to shelf or cart), and pushing or pulling heavier items with the use of a cart or dolly. A workplace demeanor consistent with a Christian church environment: civil, respectful, polite, and responsive Be in agreement with and subscribe to the MRM Statement of Faith and the MRM Statement of Biblical Convictions Be a committed follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is evident in personal testimony and Christian conduct Pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
