This course introduces students to foundational drawing techniques, visual language, and observational skills across a range of media. Responsibilities Teach one section of Drawing (ART 101), meeting 2 times/week, in-person Develop and deliver a syllabus aligned with departmental learning outcomes Hold regular office hours or be available for student consultation Assess student work and submit grades in accordance with institutional deadlines Maintain a safe, well-organized studio environment Qualifications MFA in Studio Art, Drawing, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience) Demonstrated teaching experience at the college level preferred Strong foundation in observational drawing, composition, and materials (charcoal, graphite, ink, etc.) Active studio practice and/or exhibition record a plus
