Art Teacher Drawn2Art is a private art school, teaching fine art drawing and painting to students, ages 4 years

• Adults, has a position open for an art teacher at our Aptos Studio.

Also, there is a position open for an art teacher for our Enrichment Program. We are looking for an artist with a background in realism, as we teach the use of graphite, charcoal, pastels, watercolors, acrylics and more. We teach a classical, realistic approach, teaching still-life, realistic animals, the Masters, the figure, portraiture, landscapes, anime/cartooning & more. For the

Aptos Studio:

Looking for a teacher who is available to teach during the week Tuesday through Friday in the afternoons and one weekend day. For the

Enrichment Program:

Looking for a teacher who is available to teach during the week in the afternoon Monday

• Friday.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to email realistic drawing and painting in as many of the mediums and subject matter mentioned above.
• Any clay experience is great. Clay is taught in the Enrichment Program.
• Have a real affinity for, and good communication skills with children, teens, and adults.
• Team work is very important, growth opportunities in this position.
• Live no more than a thirty-minute drive from the Aptos studio. In the Enrichment program, there will be driving involved; a reliable car is requested.
• Be highly responsible, reliable, respectful, positive attitude, open communication. and punctual.
• Must have a degree or working towards a degree in fine art drawing and painting, or working toward this degree.
• Must be available up to 5 days a week. Studio Classes Tuesday
• Friday run from the afternoon, starting as early as 12:30 p.m. to the evening, ending as late as 7 p.m. Weekend classes start as early as 8:30 a.m. and end as late as 3:00 p.m.
