Who We Are Enlightened Learning (www.eltutoringandart.com) is a small, locally owned learning and art center staffed by instructors who are passionate about guiding students to explore their artistic creativity and reach their academic goals. We believe that each student is unique in the way they learn, absorb information, and explore the world around them. Our instructors personalize the learning process while creating space for students to explore their individual interests and creativity. We provide art instruction in classroom and individual 1:1 settings, as well as community events and camps. Who We Are Looking For We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic art instructors who are excited about bringing art to the community and inspiring children through creative learning. Our art instructors are responsible for: Creating engaging art lessons with support from management Providing art instruction in a variety of settings and age groups Teaching comfortably in both small- and large-group settings Setting up and taking down art activities promptly Managing and maintaining art supplies and inventory Creating a positive, encouraging, and creative learning environment Applicants should have experience working with children and a strong understanding of art fundamentals and creative techniques. We are looking for instructors who are comfortable adapting their teaching style to different ages, group sizes, and learning needs. Experience working with students with diverse learning needs is a plus. Instructors with ELTC must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to provide proof of their education level. Because this is an in-person position, applicants must have reliable transportation and excellent time-management skills. Instructors should also be able to: Respond to emails regularly and in a timely manner Meet with management periodically via Zoom Effectively self-manage their responsibilities and prepare for scheduled classes and events Arrive on time and be prepared to teach If you are creative, dependable, enthusiastic about working with children, and excited to share your love of art with our community, we would love to hear from you!
