ABOUT THE ROLE
Clay Hub is a working ceramics studio in the heart of South Boulder. During the school year, our teaching studio runs afterschool ceramics classes for ages 8-12 and sometimes teens, as well as camps on Boulder Valley School District's days off. We're looking for an enthusiastic, capable Lead Teacher to lead some of our youth classes. Clay Hub is a space for connection, creativity, and community through clay, and we can't wait to welcome a new energetic, positive and highly qualified Ceramics Teacher to join our amazing team! You'll work with students directly, set up and clean up, and keep the energy positive from start to finish. Ceramics knowledge is required — you'll be working hands-on with students at the wheel and with handbuilding. Before applying, spend some time on our website at tinkerartstudio.com — especially our Clay Hub page. We want candidates who feel genuinely excited about what we do.

A NOTE ABOUT FIT
We want to be upfront about something specific to this role: this position does not include studio membership or additional studio access beyond class credits. Team members receive class credits to use toward classes or workshops at Tinker Art Studio or Clay Hub — and when participating as a student, they're treated just like any other student, fully separate from their work role. This keeps the boundary between work and creative time healthy and clear. The right person is genuinely excited about supporting our students without needing to be part of the studio as an artist themselves.
ABOUT CLAY HUB
Clay Hub is part of the Tinker Art Studio family — a community-centered ceramics studio in South Boulder where members, students, and artists come to work with clay. We believe in connection, creativity, and creating a space where people feel genuinely welcome in community. We are excited to meet you!
