We are seeking a passionate, gifted, and mission-driven Visual Art Teacher to lead and continue to grow our middle and high school program. This individual will teach 2D, 3D, and Digital Art and will cultivate an environment where students discover their creative expression, grow in confidence, and use the visual arts as a tool to grow in talent, confidence and leadership. HCLA is a thriving Christian school seeking progressive, dedicated and talented individuals to help us live out our mission. The ideal candidate believes that Visual Art is not only a form of artistic expression, but also a powerful tool for discipleship, collaboration, and character development. Primary Responsibilities Teach engaging Art courses for middle and high school students, integrating performance skills, artistic literacy, and creative expression Collaborate with staff, administration, and other fine arts faculty to build a cohesive and excellent arts program All candidates recommended for hire will be required to comply with the screening process outlined by House Bill 531 (2025), which includes visiting and following the steps located at https://crw.flclearinghouse.com/ .
