Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and insurance. Overview We're Mosaic Art Studio and we're a fast-growing global startup that has expanded to Massachusetts. We're looking for friendly, creative, reliable independent contractors to join our workshop instructor/ facilitator team. This opportunity is ideal for self-employed artists, teaching artists, instructors, and creatives who enjoy working with people and guiding them through hands-on art experiences. Duties Lead mosaic lamp workshops twice a day Guide participants step-by-step with patience and professionalism. Represent our brand with strong interpersonal and communication skills Travel to pop-up workshop locations in various cities and towns. [Saugus, Wenham, Brighton, Amesbury, Hopkinton] Prepare necessary materials, supplies, and equipment for each session Guide participants through artistic techniques, concepts, and project completion Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating environment that encourages creative expression Assess participant progress and provide constructive feedback Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio or workshop space Experience Prior experience teaching or facilitating art workshops or classes is preferred but not required. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse needs and skill levels Passion for fostering creativity and promoting the arts within the community Requirements Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others. Must have a reliable vehicle Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Standing for extended periods. Comfortable transporting workshop materials (push cart + mobile units provided) English required; Additional languages are a plus.

Typical commitment:

2-4 Saturdays per month (varies based on bookings). Punctuality, professionalism, and the ability to manage groups of 15-20 participants confidently. Travel is required and paid for. 30 mins on average, sometimes 1 hour to and from the workshop venues.
