Job Overview La Vie En Couleurs is a Paint & Sip studio that opened in June 2026 , and we are excited to continue growing our team. We are seeking a part-time/full-time Art Instructor to join our team. This role is ideal for an energetic, creative individual who is passionate about art and has experience instructing and leading art classes in a group setting . As an Art Instructor, you will lead fun, guided, step-by-step painting sessions for guests of all skill levels. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming, social, and engaging atmosphere while ensuring guests can comfortably follow along and complete their paintings. The ideal candidate must have at least 1-2 years of experience teaching, instructing, or facilitating art classes , preferably in a group, studio, community, school, or similar setting. Responsibilities Lead engaging, step-by-step painting classes for groups of varying sizes. Clearly demonstrate painting techniques so guests of all skill levels can follow along. Create a fun, welcoming, energetic, and encouraging environment. Paint a variety of subjects and styles, including landscapes, florals, abstract designs, seasonal themes, and special-event paintings. Prepare canvases, paints, brushes, easels, and other materials before each session. Assist guests individually when additional instruction or guidance is needed. Help develop creative and easy-to-follow painting concepts for upcoming classes. Lead private parties, special events, date nights, and other Paint & Sip experiences. Maintain an organized and clean art station and classroom. Assist with setup and cleanup before and after painting sessions. Follow studio procedures and safety guidelines. Work collaboratively with other team members to provide an excellent guest experience. Qualifications & Skills Minimum 1-2 years of experience teaching, instructing, or facilitating art classes is required. Previous experience leading group art classes is strongly preferred. Strong painting skills and knowledge of basic painting techniques. Comfortable painting and teaching a variety of subjects and styles. Ability to provide clear, easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions. Confident speaking and demonstrating techniques in front of groups. Friendly, outgoing, patient, and encouraging personality. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Ability to work with beginners as well as more experienced painters. Creative and able to contribute new painting ideas. Dependable, organized, and able to manage a class from setup through cleanup. Ability to create a fun atmosphere while keeping classes organized and on schedule. Availability for evenings, weekends, and special events is preferred.
