Qualifications/Experience:

Must hold an active New York State Teaching certification Open to certified teachers from any teaching discipline with a strong desire to teach Art Previous teaching or classroom assistant experience preferred Ability to commute between multiple locations as needed Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Responsibilities:

Deliver creative, standards-based art instruction for elementary or secondary students (exact age group to be confirmed) Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages artistic exploration and self-expression Adapt art lessons and materials to meet a variety of learning needs Collaborate with school staff and administration to coordinate schedules and curriculum Maintain organized records of student progress and participation Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment at all locations
