Job Description
Step into a dynamic educational environment and share your passion for the arts with students as an Art Teacher or Teacher's Assistant. In this contract opportunity, you will travel between sites to provide engaging, in-person art instruction and support classroom creativity. Qualifications/Experience:
Must hold an active New York State Teaching certification Open to certified teachers from any teaching discipline with a strong desire to teach Art Previous teaching or classroom assistant experience preferred Ability to commute between multiple locations as needed Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindsetResponsibilities:
Deliver creative, standards-based art instruction for elementary or secondary students (exact age group to be confirmed) Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages artistic exploration and self-expression Adapt art lessons and materials to meet a variety of learning needs Collaborate with school staff and administration to coordinate schedules and curriculum Maintain organized records of student progress and participation Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment at all locationsBenefits and Perks:
