About Wellth Performance Wellth Performance helps clients improve their body composition, fitness, health, and long-term quality of life through individualized coaching and objective measurement. Our approach combines exercise programming, nutrition coaching, behavior change, and accountability with tools such as DEXA body composition scans, resting metabolic rate testing, and VO₂ assessments. We are hiring an experienced coach who has already developed strong skills working with clients and is ready to take greater ownership of both the coaching process and the day-to-day client experience. The Role As a Senior Performance Coach, you will independently manage an ongoing roster of coaching clients while also helping run the day-to-day operations of Wellth Performance. Coaching will represent the majority of your role as your client roster develops, while day-to-day operations and assessments will remain an important part of the position. You will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, providing ongoing guidance and accountability, monitoring progress, and helping clients make meaningful, measurable improvements. This is not primarily an in-person personal training position. Most coaching takes place through Zoom, text communication, individualized programming, progress reviews, nutrition coaching, and ongoing accountability. You will also conduct occasional in-person training sessions, perform health and fitness assessments, support the daily flow of appointments, and help ensure clients receive a professional and high-quality experience. We are looking for someone who understands that great coaching requires far more than writing workouts. You should know how to establish meaningful goals, identify barriers, coach behavior change, create accountability, evaluate progress, and adapt your approach to the individual. The role requires someone who can move comfortably between coaching, client communication, assessments, and operational responsibilities while taking ownership of their work and maintaining a consistently high standard. Client Coaching & Outcomes Independently manage an ongoing roster of coaching clients Conduct virtual coaching sessions, progress reviews, and ongoing client communication Establish meaningful goals and translate them into practical action plans Monitor training, nutrition, activity, body composition, fitness, adherence, and other relevant measures Identify barriers to progress and develop individualized solutions Create effective accountability and behavior-change strategies Adjust coaching strategies when progress, adherence, or circumstances change Build strong client relationships and maintain a high standard of communication and follow-through Nutrition & Exercise Coaching Provide practical nutrition coaching around calories, macronutrients, food choices, eating behaviors, and sustainable strategies Help clients navigate restaurants, travel, social events, busy schedules, and other real-world challenges Design individualized resistance training and cardiovascular programs Review training performance and modify programming based on progress, limitations, and goals Provide remote exercise coaching and occasional in-person training when appropriate Day-to-Day Operations & Assessments Help manage the daily flow of client appointments and testing Conduct DEXA body composition scans once appropriately trained and certified Perform resting metabolic rate, VO₂, and other metabolic or fitness assessments Prepare clients for testing and clearly explain procedures Review assessment quality and ensure testing is completed accurately and consistently Maintain testing areas, equipment readiness, and an organized client environment Follow established safety, quality-control, documentation, and operating procedures Identify and resolve routine operational issues when appropriate Help ensure each client has a professional, efficient, and high-quality experience from arrival through follow-up Review results with clients, provide guidance on appropriate next steps, and recommend Wellth Performance services or coaching programs when they align with the client's goals and needs Previous experience with

₂, or metabolic testing is not required. We will provide training. Client Management Maintain complete and timely client documentation Track goals, commitments, follow-ups, and next steps Proactively manage your roster so clients do not fall through the cracks Communicate effectively with clients and the Wellth Performance team Contribute ideas that improve coaching systems, testing operations, client outcomes, and the overall client experience Who We're Looking For This is not an entry-level coaching position. We are looking for someone who has spent meaningful time coaching clients and has developed strong judgment about what actually creates results. You should understand exercise and nutrition, but equally important is your ability to understand people. Strong candidates know how to ask good questions, establish trust, uncover the real barriers behind stalled progress, create effective accountability, simplify when necessary, challenge clients when appropriate, and adapt their coaching style to different personalities and circumstances. You should also be comfortable moving between coaching responsibilities and hands-on operational responsibilities. This role requires someone who can manage their own client roster while helping ensure the day-to-day operation of the business runs at a high standard. You should be comfortable making thoughtful recommendations when you believe additional coaching or services would genuinely benefit a client. This includes helping clients understand their results, identifying appropriate next steps, and confidently explaining how Wellth Performance may be able to help. You should have developed your own systems and processes for managing clients, tracking progress, and helping people follow through. Most importantly, you should genuinely care about the quality of your coaching and whether your clients succeed. Required Qualifications Significant professional experience in personal training, fitness coaching, strength coaching, nutrition coaching, or a related client-facing fitness role Experience independently managing an ongoing roster of coaching clients Strong knowledge of exercise programming and resistance training Practical experience coaching nutrition, body composition, or weight management Demonstrated experience helping clients create sustainable behavior change Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills Ability to independently manage multiple clients, appointments, priorities, and follow-ups Strong professional judgment and attention to detail Ability to explain complex concepts simply and practically Willingness and ability to learn and perform health and fitness assessments Ability to take ownership of day-to-day operational responsibilities when needed Recognized fitness credential, relevant degree, or equivalent combination of education, credentials, and substantial professional experience The Opportunity This role is designed for an experienced coach who wants responsibility beyond delivering individual training sessions. You will manage the broader process that determines whether a client succeeds: training, nutrition, behavior, accountability, body composition, metabolic health, and cardiovascular fitness. You will also play an important role in the day-to-day operation of Wellth Performance and develop proficiency with objective health and fitness assessments that provide information most traditional coaches never have access to. As Wellth Performance grows, strong performers may have opportunities to take on larger and more advanced client rosters, help develop coaching and operational systems, mentor future coaches, and move into leadership. Compensation & Benefits $65,000-$80,000 per year, based on experience, coaching ability, credentials, and demonstrated skills. Additional performance-based compensation opportunities may be available as coaching responsibilities and client roster size grow.
