Responsibilities Plan and deliver age-appropriate soccer training sessions that emphasize skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship Lead youth teams during practices and games, providing clear instructions and motivating players to perform their best Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages participation and enjoyment for children of all skill levels Monitor safety on the field, ensuring proper use of equipment and adherence to safety protocols including AED operation and first aid procedures Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about player progress, upcoming events, and program expectations Manage behavior on the field through effective behavior management techniques to promote respect and discipline Collaborate with other coaches and staff to organize tournaments, clinics, and special events that enhance the youth soccer experience Requirements Prior experience working with children in sports or recreational settings; coaching or teaching physical education is highly desirable Knowledge of soccer coaching techniques, sports-specific training instruction, and team leadership skills Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, or willingness to obtain upon hire Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members Background in sports such as basketball, cheerleading, climbing or martial arts is a plus but not required Ability to demonstrate enthusiasm, patience, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment Experience in childcare or health club environments is beneficial but not mandatory Join us in creating an inspiring youth sports environment where every child can thrive!
