The primary focus will be that of mentorship, recruitment, administration and coordination of a high school wrestling program where the total development of the student-athlete is the highest priority. Specifically, the Head Coach will identify, recruit, and coach student-athletes; develop practice plans and competition schedules; manage operating budget; oversee student-athlete academics and compliance of the program; and supervise assistant coaches/other support personnel. Minimum two (2) years successful (recent) experience at the varsity wrestling level (within last five (5) years); Experience working directly with collegiate and/or public school districts is highly desirable; Bachelor's degree desired; Master's Degree desirable; Experience as a certificated staff member desirable; Must have demonstrated ability to lead and direct a sports program, working knowledge of CIF rules/regulations, effective oral and written communication, and strong organizational skills.
