htorres@monroviaschools.net Job Summary Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Varsity Girls Soccer Coach. With direction of supervision for the Principal and/or Athletic Director the applicant:

• Coaching games, conducting practices, traveling with and supervising team.
• Create and implement Monrovia Soccer schemes and strategies.
• Prioritize health and safety of students first.
• Devotion to tenets of education-based athletics required.
• Previous high school or club coaching experience preferred.
• Maintains discipline, player safety, team spirit and sportsmanlike behavior at all times.

All postings/positions are tentative and pending athletics and Human Resources approval.

• "Sudden Cardiac Arrest" course completion certificate. Online course available through National Federation of High Schools. (www.nfhslearn.com)
• "Concussion in Sports" Online course available through National Federation of High Schools. (www.nfhslearn.com)
• "Heat Illness Prevention" Online course available through National Federation of High Schools. (www.nfhslearn.com)

CPR & First Aid:

evidence of current certification. MUST be recognized by the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. (Online Courses unacceptable)

TB Test:

Evidence of current negative test OR Adult TB Risk Assessment Form.

• Current Driver License at time of employment.
