Head Coach Endeavor Volleyball Academy Palmdale, CA Job Details Contract $1,500 a month 1 day ago Qualifications School experience CPR Certification Sports team experience Team development Organizational skills Teaching Full Job Description Head Volleyball Coach - Competitive Club Team Endeavor Volleyball Academy (EVA) Palmdale/Lancaster, California Part-time | Evenings and weekends Endeavor Volleyball Academy is seeking an experienced and dependable Head Volleyball Coach to lead a competitive travel team. The ideal candidate will be an effective teacher, strong communicator, and positive role model who is committed to athlete development and team success. Responsibilities Plan and lead organized, high-quality practices Teach volleyball fundamentals, advanced skills, rotations, and game strategy Establish team expectations and maintain a positive, disciplined environment Develop athletes technically, physically, and mentally Prepare lineups and coach the team during tournaments Communicate professionally with athletes, parents, assistant coaches, and club directors Track athlete development, attendance, and areas needing improvement Follow EVA policies, coaching standards, and athlete-safety requirements Attend required coaches' meetings, practices, tournaments, and club events Work collaboratively with assistant coaches and program directors Qualifications Previous volleyball coaching experience required Competitive club, high school, collegiate, or national-level experience preferred Strong knowledge of volleyball systems, rotations, position training, and game strategy Ability to manage a competitive team and provide constructive feedback Reliable transportation and availability for evening practices and weekend tournaments Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Must complete all required background checks, SafeSport training, memberships, and certifications before working with athletes CPR/First Aid certification preferred What EVA Offers Dedicated volleyball facility with two full courts Support from experienced program directors and club leadership Assistant-coach support Competitive teams and structured training programs Opportunities for additional income through clinics clinics, camps, and private lessons A positive, athlete-centered coaching environment Schedule Practices are generally held two to three evenings per week. Tournament travel and weekend availability are required. The exact schedule will depend on the assigned team.
