This position is for the springs sports season. Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Boys JV Volleyball Coach to lead and develop our soccer program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching, particularly in high school volleyball, and have experience working with students of various skill levels. This role involves not only teaching the fundamentals of volleyball but also fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among players. Responsibilities Develop and implement effective training programs that enhance players' skills and understanding of the game. Conduct regular practice sessions, focusing on individual skill development and team strategies. Organize and oversee team practices, games, and tournaments. Provide guidance on physical fitness, conditioning, and injury prevention. Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that encourages participation and growth. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school staff regarding player progress and team activities. Monitor student-athlete performance both on and off the field to ensure academic success. Collaborate with other coaches to promote a comprehensive athletic program. Experience Experience in sports coaching, particularly in volleyball. Background in physical education or related fields is preferred. Experience working with students in a coaching or mentoring capacity is highly desirable. Especially with high school aged students. Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate young athletes are essential.
