This paid position offers the opportunity to work with enthusiastic children and adolescents, fostering a positive environment where they can learn, grow, and excel in cheerleading routines, stunts, and performances. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for sports, strong leadership qualities, and experience working with youth to create engaging practices and memorable team experiences. Responsibilities Plan and execute dynamic cheerleading practices that focus on technique, choreography, stunts, and team cohesion Coach cheerleading routines for performances at school events, competitions, and community gatherings Foster a safe environment by teaching proper spotting techniques and ensuring all stunts are performed with safety in mind Develop individualized skill improvement plans for team members based on their experience levels Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and positive attitude among participants Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding team progress, upcoming events, and safety protocols Maintain equipment inventory, ensure proper use of training gear, and uphold facility safety standards Skills Experience working with children in sports or physical activity settings Strong background in cheerleading, gymnastics, dance or related disciplines Knowledge of stunt techniques, choreography, and performance skills specific to cheerleading Excellent communication skills to motivate and instruct young athletes effectively Ability to lead a team with enthusiasm while managing behavior and fostering a supportive environment Familiarity with sports coaching principles including safety procedures for stunts and routines Certifications such as First Aid and CPR (including AED operation) are highly preferred Background in martial arts (e.g., Karate, Judo), gymnastics, or other athletic disciplines is advantageous Experience teaching physical education or sports-specific training instruction is a plus Skills in behavior management to handle diverse student needs confidently Join us as a Youth Cheerleading Coach to make a lasting impact on young athletes' lives through energetic coaching, skill development, and inspiring leadership.
