Overview Golfzon Social Oak Brook is seeking a driven Golf Instructor to teach golf fundamentals in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment and contribute to the growth of the instruction program. Experience Required PGA credentials preferred but not required. Essential Responsibilities Teach the fundamentals of the golf swing as established by the Director of Instruction. Design and implement marketing ideas to promote golf instruction and generate additional revenue. Oversee range set-up and equipment and help maintain the driving range, lesson tee, and storage shed. Promote all club golf activities, including junior golf clinics. Instruct and assist in the development of qualified and certified assistants and educate teaching staff with monthly clinics and/or roundtable sessions. Coordinate and teach clinics. Act as a liaison between Troon and the Club regarding golf school schedules, needs, and equipment. Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all teaching aids on property, including video equipment. Assist in the creation of lesson plans. Interview, hire, train, plan, assign, and direct work; evaluate performance; reward and discipline associates; address complaints and resolve problems.
