Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Recreational Gymnastics Coach and inspire children to develop their physical skills, confidence, and love for movement! Responsibilities Lead recreational gymnastics classes for children of various age groups, ensuring activities are fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate Maintain a safe environment by enforcing safety protocols, proper equipment use, and behavior management strategies Provide clear instructions and demonstrate techniques to help children learn new skills effectively Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, achievements, and areas for improvement Assist with setting up equipment, cleaning the gym area, and ensuring all safety standards are met at all times Support other programs when needed to diversify programming Qualifications Prior experience working with children in sports or recreational settings is preferred, but not required. Training is provided on-the-job! Knowledge of gymnastics fundamentals and sports-specific training instruction Certifications in First Aid and CPR (including AED operation) are a plus Demonstrated communication skills to effectively engage with management, children, parents, and team members Experience in coaching or teaching physical education programs is desirable Ability to manage behavior positively while fostering teamwork and confidence in young participants Join us to empower children through active play!
