We're looking for the person who gets excited when a child finally does the thing they were afraid to try. The encourager. The high-fiver. The patient one. The person kids naturally gravitate toward. You're dependable. Kind. Energetic. A little silly when the moment calls for it. You like being part of a team, and you want your work to mean something.

NO EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.

Seriously. We can teach you how to teach swimming. We can't teach you to care about people.

SO, WHAT DOES A SWIM INSTRUCTOR ACTUALLY DO?

You'll spend your shifts in our warm-water indoor pool teaching children the skills that help them become safer, stronger, and more confident swimmers. But swimming is only part of it. You'll celebrate first jumps. Calm nervous swimmers. Give approximately one million high-fives. Turn skills into games. Cheer ridiculously loud when something finally clicks. Build relationships with kids who will be genuinely excited when they walk in and see YOU waiting for them. Some days you'll teach a child how to float. Other days, you'll teach them that they can do something they were absolutely certain they couldn't. That's the job.
