About Us Nebraska Parkour Gym is the leading gym in the state working to transform the community in Omaha and the surrounding areas through parkour. NEPK takes pride in delivering quality instruction to teens, kids, and adults. We place high value in coaching capabilities and personal development to impact the lives of students in class as well as their families. Nebraska Parkour Gym is looking for people with friendly personalities who love working with kids and teens to be more active and discover a love for movement and play! Never done parkour? Not a problem. We're looking for candidates with coaching experience or experience working with kids. We will take you from no experience to a parkour coach in 4-8 weeks. Teaching people parkour is our thing; we're incredible at it and are excited to share the sport with you. All training is provided! No experience necessary! Role You are a coach, leader, a mentor, and an integral part of our mission to change lives through movement and play.
Your role is hybrid:
coach, motivator, role model.
Your primary functions are:
Teaching parkour classes for students of all ages and skill levels. Creating an uplifting, safe, and fun environment for students to explore movement. Inspiring confidence, discipline, and passion in students through play and challenge. But your impact doesn't stop there. You'll also: Assist students during gym events and guide as needed. Foster a strong, welcoming community at Nebraska Parkour. Invite families to register for camps and special events at the gym. Responsibilities & Duties Leading parkour classes, competitions, and events. Ensuring the safety of students during all activities. Building meaningful relationships with students and their families. Creating an atmosphere where students feel empowered to challenge themselves. Continuously improving your coaching skills and knowledge of parkour. Promoting and embodying Nebraska Parkour's core values in all interactions. Help share basic cleaning duties Able to demonstrate basic skills Performance Expectations Shows excitement to coach through learning and self-development Resolves and manages conflict disruptions to classes Applies risk management and safety in potentially dangerous settings and environments during classes Maintains a positive attitude and collaborates well with the team accurately Monitors and mitigates safety concerns, facilitates class learning, and engages students Develop and implement lesson plans that foster growth and development for children Learn, teach, and demonstrate basic skills that are adaptable to different student capabilities Maintain a positive, empathetic, and self-aware presence to students, staff, and clients in a professional manner Requirements Experience working with kids in a coaching or mentorship capacity. Passion for teaching, learning, and fitness. Willingness to learn and develop as a coach / athlete Positive, professional attitude. Empathy and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Work-place Professional skills such as timeliness, quick communication, and attention to detail A desire to foster a love for movement and progression in others. Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed for classes or events. Applicants are required to be a minimum 16 years of age. High school graduate (or equivalent) required, college preferred.
Length of Commitment:
We require all candidates to commit to this role for 2 years, minimum. What's in it for you?

Free classes for you and your kids Employee snack bin Company merch Hours 3-days per week minimum, or 2 days and cover the rest of the week.
Business operating hours:
Noon classes: 12:00
3:00 PM (Wed & Thu currently)
Bonus points if you can work these hours Evening classes: 4:30
8:30 PM Saturday classes: 10:00 AM
1:00 PM

TRAINING RATE
of $15 (Pay raises comes quickly as you exit training) Base hourly pay growth up to $19 per hour as your skills improve Commission opportunity Opportunities for workshops, private lessons, and events
