Job Description

Experienced High School Boys Varsity Head Basketball Coach Winter Season 2026-2027 This is a part-time seasonal position and a great job for someone looking for part-time work to schedule around school or other work, while positively impacting the lives of young student athletes. The job responsibilities include but are not limited to: planning and running practices (with an assistant coach), coaching all games, taking care of equipment, communicating with the parents, Athletic Director, and Assistant Director weekly, ensuring the safety of students at all times, and timely communication with parents /guardians regarding any issues and/or injuries the same day as the incident.
  • Practices are four days a week, days and times to be determined
  • First practice is November 1st, 2026
  • Last practice is March 16, 2027
  • There is one weekend overnight tournament
  • Pay is $2,000 - 3,000 based upon experience
Job Requirements:
  • Experience and enthusiasm with basketball and coaching
  • Ability to teach and demonstrate good sportsmanship and leadership skills, develop athletic dexterity and skillfulness, work ethic, and team spirit
  • Work and communicate effectively with others: Assistant Coach, parents, Athletic Director and players
