Group Fitness Coach — CrossFit-Style Training | Pack Athletic Club (Deer Park, NY) Pack Athletic Club is a CrossFit-style training gym in Deer Park, NY, running our own in-house group class format for a tight-knit community of athletes. We're looking for an energetic, knowledgeable coach to lead small-group classes 1-3 times per week. What You'll Do Lead 60-minute small-group classes following our programmed lesson plans (warm-up, strength/skill work, and a workout of the day) Coach proper movement mechanics and scale workouts appropriately for athletes of all levels Set up and break down the facility for your shift Build genuine relationships with members and help foster our gym community What We're Looking For Experience coaching group fitness, CrossFit-style training, or a related strength & conditioning background CrossFit certification (Level 1 or higher) preferred, not required Willingness to complete CPR/AED certification as needed Reliable, punctual, and comfortable coaching a room of mixed-ability athletes Strong communication skills and a safety-first coaching style Perks Additional pay for leading Fundamentals (new-member onboarding) classes Private lesson opportunities, with the ability to set your own rates Referral bonuses for bringing in new members Free, unlimited access to the facility and all group programming Wholesale pricing on Pack merchandise Schedule Part-time and flexible — typically 1 to 3 classes per week on a rolling monthly schedule.
